Bat Teeth

Close up fill frame with point of interest
Exposure Mode Night Shot
Aperture 2.7
Shutter Speed 1/8
This is a picture taken of a friend who had her version of vampire teeth. It was taken in a restaurant with very poor lighting and the flash from my camera really helped to make her face the focal point of this picture. It is a good way to fill the frame with a close up point of interest.

  1. Element: Space
    Principle: Emphasis

I really like the emphasis placed on the person in the photograph, you can tell the picture is all about her :) but at the same time you can see behind her into the restaurant.

I think the photo would look a bit better if you took the clone brush and covered up the light that is in her hair.

  2. haha.
i see rule of thirds in this one too! definitely a good way to focus in on someone. the contrast in this photo is amazing, maybe you could go one step further and edit the background to be darker? otherwise, nice crisp edges. i do agree with val about the clone stamp/light.
black and white may look cool too :)
