Oblique Lines
Exposure Mode Night Shot
Aperture 2.7
Shutter Speed 1/8
This photo was taken inside a restaurant with very dim lighting. I wanted to show the oblique leading lines that were present here, as shown in the seating of the people, the placing of the menus, and the water glasses.

  1. Element: Color
    Principle: Repetition

More happy people :) I really like the color in this one again, the warms of the walls and tables and the bright green/blue, purple, and white of the clothing. The repetition of the people, water glasses, and menus is nice and balances the picture out well.

Two things, it could use some cropping i think. Taking some off the left side and a bit off the top of the picture. Then maybe brighten up some of the colors of the clothing even more to make them pop :)

  2. i see rule of thirds in this one.. very nice candid photo! the lines are a bit hard to see, since the focus is definitely on the people. i see implied lines in this as well. i do see values in this, but i think you could try a bit of darker levels to give a bit more contrast.
