Series of Three
For my series of three project, I would like to do three surrealistic photomontages. The three photomontages would be connected by using the same sort of textures and places in the pictures. I would like to do three photomontages similar to the one that I have already done in this class.

Surrealistic Photomontage Idea
I would like to do a photomontage of things that I like that kind of describe me. I would like to add in some of my friends and images of places around the town I live in, which would be Aberdeen. There is a longer story that goes with this but I will share the condensed version. I was home-schooled for the large majority of my grade school years and for half of my high-school years. During Jr. High my family moved to a small town. It was very difficult to make friends in that small town for various reasons that I will not go into. As a result I spent a lot of time by myself and learned how to enjoy the quiet times and how to keep myself busy. This images that I would like to put together show some of the things that I either did, thought about, or imagined. Very surrealistic!

Contemporary Surrealism Art Review
Description: This piece entitled Faceless Composition was created by larafairie. This is a picture of a lady standing in a field with her head up and her hair blowing in the wind. The lady's face is either floating away from her or floating down to her. The expression on the face is very serene.
Analysis: The background is given a very soft, ethereal feeling that gives this piece a very dreamlike quality. The lady is in the very front foreground and is very clear and sharply in focus.
Interpretation: This piece seems to show the identity lost to oneself in a dream. That the person can be anyone they want to be and have complete peace with letting their identity go for those few precious moments.
Judgment: I absolutely love this piece! The execution and balance of this piece really helps to bring a sense of peace and tranquility to the viewer. With the face floating down, it makes one wonder who she is going to be.
